How to extract pages from a PDF

  1. 1
Select the PDF file you want to extract pages from.
  2. 2
Click the pages you need (they get a blue check mark) or type a range, e.g. 1-3, 7.
  3. 3
Choose one PDF or every page separately, then click "Extract pages".

Create a new PDF from just the pages you need

Often you only need a small part of a long document: one page of a contract, a table from an annual report, a decision from a scanned case file or a few pages from a textbook. Instead of sending a hundred-page file, Extract pages creates a small new PDF containing only what you select.

Select pages by clicking the thumbnails, which is the clearest way, or by typing numbers. Entering 1-3, 7, 12- extracts the first three pages, page seven and everything from page twelve to the end. Extracted pages keep their original order.

One file or several files

You can put all selected pages into one PDF or save each page as a separate file. The second option is handy when several documents – receipts or certificates, for example – were scanned into one PDF and each needs to be sent or archived on its own.

Quality and privacy

Extracted pages are identical to the original – text remains searchable and images keep full resolution. Everything is processed in your browser, so the document stays on your device.
