Share your presentation with anyone
A PowerPoint file is often large, requires Office and may look different on another computer if fonts are missing. When you send a presentation to a teacher, colleagues, clients or seminar attendees, a PDF is far more practical: it opens on any device, looks exactly like yours and can't be changed by accident.
PowerPoint to PDF turns every slide into one page of a PDF document, keeping images, charts, tables and text. Text in the PDF stays searchable and can be copied.
Good to know
- Animations and transitions are not carried over – the PDF shows the final look of each slide.
- Embedded video and audio cannot be played in a PDF.
- Speaker notes are not included; the PDF contains only the slides.
- Hidden slides are not shown in the PDF.
If the PDF is too large for email (presentations with many photos), shrink it with Compress PDF.
Security
The conversion is performed by LibreOffice Impress on our server. The file is sent over an encrypted connection and deleted right after conversion, together with the resulting PDF.
