Sign documents without printing and scanning
The classic routine – print the document, sign it with a pen, scan it and send it back – takes time and requires a printer and scanner. Sign PDF lets you draw your handwritten signature right on the screen and place it exactly where it belongs, in under a minute. On phones and tablets you draw with your finger, which gives the most natural result.
You can place the signature in several spots and on several pages – for example, initial every page of a contract and sign the last one. Each placed signature can be moved, resized or removed before saving.
Important: a handwritten signature image is not a qualified electronic signature
This tool inserts an image of your signature into the document. That is sufficient in many everyday situations – signing offers, orders, statements, school consent forms or internal documents – when the other party accepts a scanned or photographed signature. It is not, however, a qualified electronic signature based on a certificate from a trust service provider. For documents submitted to courts, notaries or tax authorities, check which type of signature is required.
Privacy
Both the document and your signature stay entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded and the signature is not remembered after you close the page, so nobody can obtain an image of your signature through our site.
