PDF pages as images
Sometimes PDF is the wrong format: you can't post a PDF on social media, an image is easier to insert into a presentation, and some portals and messaging apps only accept pictures. PDF to JPG turns every page of a document into a high-quality image that you can share, insert into Word or PowerPoint, print or edit.
JPG or PNG?
JPG produces smaller files and is ideal for pages with photos and for sharing. PNG keeps text and line edges perfectly sharp, so it is better for tables, charts and technical drawings, but the files are larger.
Which resolution should I choose?
Resolution is measured in dots per inch (dpi). An A4 page at 96 dpi is about 794 × 1123 pixels – enough for viewing on screen. At 150 dpi it is about 1240 × 1754 pixels – sharp enough to zoom in and read small print. For printing choose 300 dpi (about 2480 × 3508 pixels).
Processed in your browser
Pages are rendered directly on your device using the same technology as Firefox's built-in PDF viewer. The document is never uploaded, so the tool is safe for confidential documents.
